Drain covers explode into the sky after boy throws matches down

Footage has emerged from China of two drain covers exploding into the sky reportedly because a boy threw lit matches down into the sewer.

The CCTV footage, filmed in Luoyang, Henan Province on March 26, shows the two sewer lids shooting into the sky, prompting the boy and others to run away.

The boy received minor injuries to his leg after being blown off his feet by the explosion.
