Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry's first TV series was "The Lieutenant," which ran during the 1963-64 TV season on NBC. The scenes here show the opening and closing credits - and the very FIRST TV appearance of Nichelle Nichols, who of course played Lt. Uhura in Star Trek!
