I suppose each one of us would run the risk of a heart attack listening to these words of the President of the United States. After a ruthless embargo that has endured almost 60 years and those that have died in the mercenary attacks on ships and Cuban ports, an airplane filled with passengers detonated in midair, mercenary invasions, multiple acts of violence and strength?
No one should be under the illusion that the people of this noble and selfless country will surrender the glory and rights and spiritual riches that it has earned with the development of education, science and culture. Furthermore, I say that we are capable of producing food and material wealth that we need with the effort and intelligence of our people. We do not need the empire to give us anything.
