An amusing video has emerged of a small bird trying to play a game on a touch-screen phone.

The footage, captured at a home in Paris on Monday, shows the adorable creature pecking at random points on the screen, in what can passably be described as 'playing' the game.

After the gaming session, the bird presumably then checked its Twitter for updates.
