Device hides lorry number plate on command

Footage of a lorry with a device installed that can make the number plate appear and disappear on command.

The CCTV video, captured in Xiaogan, Hubei Province, China last Friday, shows the number plate on the lorry moving so that it can be hidden or visible.

According to local reports, the owner of the lorry may have had the device installed in order to escape “electronic eyes”.

The driver was fined and had points deducted from his license.
