I made this short film as part of a side project for a course I am taking on Food, Art and Identity. As a supplement to the course, Ive organized a weekly series where several of us get together to look at the various portrayals of food in film. When I asked my classmates, friends, professors and strangers for food movies a lot of people could only supply food scenes. Since I could not devote an entire evening to watching a two hour movie with only five minutes of food, I made this movie as an acknowledgment of the versatility of food in film. It is in NO WAY an exhaustive representation; it is not necessarily those scenes that I would most choose to showcase and the quality is not especially good - I was limited by technology, time and availability. \r

Scenes Include (in order of appearance): A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story, Tom Jones, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Tom Jones, The French Chef, Silence of the Lambs, Bottle Shock, Chocolat, Mostly Martha, Beauty and the Beast, Sideways, Willy Wonka, Babettes Feast, Dances with Wolves, Like Water for Chocolate, Tampopo, Lady and the Tramp, Like Water for Chocolate, Young Bess, American Pie, Babettes Feast, Animal House, The Flintstones, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Modern Times, Frasier, Ratatouille, Oliver, Julie and Julia, Seinfeld, 9 1/2 Weeks, Hook, Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, Beetlejuice, 30 Minute Meals, Across the Universe, Supersize Me, 3 Stooges, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Last Holiday, Sweeney Todd, Babettes Feast, Chocolat, The French Chef, Chocolat, Big Night, Bottle Shock, No Reservations, Big Night and When Harry Met Sally.\r
