Hero for a Day 2014: Collecting Christmas Trees for Cohos in Oregon

Volunteers with the Tualatin chapter of Trout Unlimited collected hundreds of Christmas trees from Portland residents after the holiday season, and gave them new life as woody habitat for Coho salmon.These dedicated anglers shrugged off nasty winter weather so they could help improve conditions for an iconic fish of the Pacific Northwest.
