Max Salinger, a divorced, flamboyant, and egocentric writer, refuses to welcome his fifteen-year-old daughter into his home. To take revenge, she steals his latest manuscript and takes off on school ski trip. To get back his property, Max has no other option than to arrive at the ski resort and pretend to be an "accompanying parent." The only problem: the famous writer, who is already no exemplary parent, is not really a qualified accompanying adult either! From epic descents to horrendous hikes, Max's life amongst the teenagers seems destined to be anything but restful.
