Police Release Video From August Shooting Incident

Troy, NY - Troy City Police Department released video from the August Lansingburgh gunfire volley that left a carjacking suspect dead and two officers with multiple gunshot wounds. \n\nThe video being released after the investigation has been completed in order to demonstrate both the value of good training and what to do in such a situation. Troy Police Chief John Tedesco saying, \"I think this will be a classic training video....these are two officers who obviously paid attention to their training...there is no question in my mind that that training saved their lives.\" \n\nOfficer Joshua Comitale was shot in both lower legs and Officer Chad Klein was hit in the back of the shoulder. The officers still have a great deal of rehabilitation ahead, but both are expected to return to duty in the future.
