The Art Institute of Chicago teamed up with short-term rentals site Airbnb to furnish a replica of Vincent Van Gogh's bedroom in Arles, France, to promote its upcoming exhibit on the Dutch Impressionist .
Van Gogh painted this room in his "beloved 'Yellow House'" three times between 1888 and 1889, according to the Art Institute.
His second version - which the mentally-disturbed artist painted from an asylum in Saint-Rémy - is in the museum's permanent collection, but this exhibit "brings together all three versions of The Bedroom for the first time in North America"; the first is part of the collection at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, while the third has been at the Musée d'Orsay.
