Meat hunting to fill the freezer is more than just going to the store and buying meat. In a world that seems to push nothing but big buck hunting, we can lose touch with what deer hunting is all about. Year in and year out we will see post of other hunters looking down or poking fun at another hunters deer harvest with words such as' you should of let that one go, or one more year, or i would of not shot that". We as hunters need to step back and and not judge other hunters for not hunting the same way as we do or for not chasing inches on bone. At the end of the day our end goal, may it be trying to harvest that big buck, or a new hunter shooting a small buck, we all have one thing in common we eat the meat. So next time you see a post of a hunter and his game, think befor you post anything, for that deer or what ever it maybe could be that hunters trophy of a life time to them. Now grab your gear and let go get some meat.
