Arcadia Official Trailer #1 (2012) - John Hawkes: Check out the trailer for "Arcadia," a poignant family drama starring John Hawkes as a distressed father who decides one morning to pack up his three children in a beat-up station wagon and move them cross-country to Arcadia, California. While the road trip seems like a typical family experience, problem arises when the children start to question the whereabouts of their mother. Are the kids being kidnapped by their father or is it their father not telling them about an unexpected and bitter divorce? The trailer seems to point to the latter as Hawkes appears to give another great understated performance. Written and directed by first-timer Olivia Silver, the film won the Crystal Bear for best feature film at this year's Berlin Film Festival. Screened at a number of festivals this year, "Arcadia" currently has no U.S. distributor.
