Set in the near future in Japan. Nobuhiko Komyoji is an expert on robots. He leads the "ARK Project" and creates Robot Kikaider . After Nobuhiko Komyoji's mysterious death, Robot Kikaider begins to fight against the "ARK Project" which has gone astray from the project's original mission.
