アニメ版も絶大な人気を博している、モンキー・パンチのコミックを実写化したクライムアクション。天才怪盗のルパン三世と仲間たちが、世界最高峰の警備を誇る要塞型金庫から秘宝を盗み出そうとする。メガホンを取るのは、『スカイハイ』シリーズなどの北村龍平。ルパン三世に小栗旬、次元大介に玉山鉄二、石川五ェ門に綾野剛、峰不二子に黒木メイサ、銭形警部に浅野忠信と、実力派たちがおなじみのキャラクターを熱演する。彼らのハマりぶりに加え、迫力にあふれたアクションの数々にも目を奪われてしまう。
Lupin, Jigen, Goemon, Fujiko, and Zenigata come together for the first time as Lupin and his crew attempt to steal the \Crimson Heart of Cleopatra\ which is held in a giant high-security safe called the \Ark of Navarone\.
