Photos from the Toronto et of Suicide Squad confirm that Midway City, Michigan is at least one of its locations. Created in the comics as a mirror of Chicago, Midway City is known to fans for once being the home of Hawkman, Hawkgirl and The Doom Patrol. It isn't known at this time if these characters will be featured in Suicide Squad, but there are a number of actors whose characters have yet to be confirmed. With no confirmed plot details to go on hopefully we'll get new details soon as to how Midway City fits into the story of writer-director David Ayer's superhero adventure.
