The Legend of Conan producer/co-writer Chris Morgan and Fredrik Malmberg have confirmed that the project will be a true sequel, not a reboot or remake and will continue the story of, and be an extension to, John Milius' original 1982 ‘Conan’. Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising his role as Conan with at least three other characters from Conan The Barbarian making a return. Morgan and Malmberg are assuring everyone that this will not be a watered down version of Conan. The Legend of Conan is planning a fall shoot with a November 2016 release date.
