Joaquin Phoenix is reportedly in talks to team up again with director M. Night Shyamalan. According to Deadline, the movie will begin filming in November and takes place in Philadelphia, which is Shyamalan's hometown. The director and Phoenix previously worked together on Signs in 2002 and The Village in 2004. Staying in step with his always mysterious style, M. Night Shyamalan refuses to spill any of the secrets behind this unique new project that puts Phoenix back in the role of leading man. The project, however, is said to be supernatural in nature and on a more modest scale. The movie is set to hit theatres in 2017.
