Due to frequent sound glitches which cause frame stuttering and lagging controls, i uninstalled Radeon Catalyst drivers and used Intel HD3000 instead. Still having sound glitches especially during drifts or collisions. Also tried alternating between onboard and external sound devices and drivers to no avail. My guess is it's a game bug.
