अगले दिन राजा भोज जब दरबार में पहुंचे तो ग्यारहवीं पुतली त्रिलोचना जैसे जाग्रत होने के लिए तैयार ही बैठी थी. त्रिलोचना बोली, हे राजा भोज, आप प्रतिदिन इस सिंहासन पर बैठने के लिए आते हैं और राजा विक्रमादित्य की कथा सुनने के बाद लौट जाते हैं। फिर भी आपने अब तक हिम्मत नहीं हारी? वे विनम्रतापूर्वक बोले, हे सुंदरी, आप हमें राजा विक्रमादित्य की कौन सी कथा सुनाने वाली हैं कृपया सुनाएं। हमारे साथ-साथ नगर की प्रजा भी अपने पूर्व राजा की वीरता और त्याग से परिचित होना चाहती हैं।
