Centuries old Hindu and Buddhist temples, a sacred pond, and soulful rendition of a folk song talking about the transitory nature of life...make this a very special place indeed...and oh...the area is rich with legends of Alexander's armies fighting through and Al-Beruni standing atop the salt range and measuring the curvature of earth looking at the flat plains of Punjab.
