Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi is a South Indian Tamil film released in 2003 directed by K. Rajeshwar who earlier directed Amaran. The film was a huge flop in box office. Simran Bagga dubbed in her own voice for the first time in this film with some dialogues dubbed by Deepa Venkat. She got a very good image as a diversified actress through this film.
