Steelers seeking to eliminate the “stench” of Sunday’s loss to Ravens

Entering Week 16, the Pittsburgh Steelers were just one win away from a berth in the AFC playoffs.
All they had to do was beat the 4-10 Ravens who came into the game with Ryan Mallet as their starting quarterback.
How hard could it be?
Apparently very, because the Steelers dropped the game 20-17, and now need an upset win by the Buffalo Bills over the New York Jets to get into the playoffs.
Regardless of that outcome, though, the Steelers have to handle their business on the road against the Cleveland Browns.
For that, Mike Tomlin only has one goal: “Getting that stench of last week’s performance off us,” Tomlin told reporters on Tuesday at his weekly press conference.
“We’ll be measured in a big way by how we do that.”
