"I've been there too" a Bosnian refugee reflects on the war and how she's giving back
  • 8 years ago
Majra Mucic Gibbins was born in Zenica, Bosnia. She was four years old in 1992 when the Bosnian War began and has vivid memories of living in conflict. Her family was lucky enough to be chosen for resettlement, moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2001. She found a way in through sports, and now gives back to other refugees through her work in international aid.
