An upgraded version of the unmanned Progress resupply vehicles launch today from Baikonur in Kazakhstan at 08:44 UTC on a Soyuz 2-1A rocket called the Progress MS-1. The MS version of the Progress comes with many new features including a digital camera system, external compartments to deploy satellites and improved MMOD debris shields around the cargo module.
