Footage of a worried male lion stopping in the middle of a road to call for the rest of his pride, possibly after being kicked out by a younger, stronger male.
The footage, filmed in August in Kruger National Park in South Africa, comes amid reports that two more sub-species of lion based in India and central Africa are about to be placed on the endangered species list.
The filmer later wrote online: "He [the lion] stopped and turned around and performed a full act as the king of the jungle.
"We think he was kicked out by the next generation, as we could hear the answer of a much younger lion from a distance."
"We also followed the road and spotted this younger and strong male, some 7km from this spot," he continued.
