Jihadi murderer sues UK prison for knocking his teeth out

DURHAM, UNITED KINGDOM — One of the radical Muslim men that brutally murdered British Army soldier Lee Rigby in May of 2013 is suing the prison service for an incident where two of his teeth were knocked out, The Sun reported.

Five guards from Belmarsh Prison were escorting Michael Adebolajo, 32, when he lashed out at them. His head hit a window and he sustained injuries including the loss of his teeth. The guards were suspended for six weeks with full pay while the police investigated the incident. They were cleared of all charges and returned to work.

Adebolajo also complained about being segregated from other Muslim inmates at Belmarsh. He was transferred to Frankland Prison in County Durham after trying to radicalize other Muslim convicts. He wrote to a Muslim prisoners support group after being transferred to say: "The guards at Frankland are worse than Belmarsh for treatment of Muslims. This move is deliberate."

According to The Sun, he also said during his trial that Al-Qaeda are his brothers. Both Adebolajo and his accomplice Michael Adebowale were raised Christian but became radical British Muslim converts.
