SEOUL — The internet community is puzzled over a new "phenomenon" from South Korea that has recently gone viral: Syori and her crazy videos.
Syori is a young lady who has been posting videos of herself on Facebook doing weird things with food and bizarre movies reenactments.
In one video Syori makes a vegetable juice by grating carrots with her teeth and then drinking the carrots' pulp mixed with water through a pipe. In another video clip she sits inside a small empty fridge dressed like a mermaid and ends up licking the mouth of a big dead fish. In another one she is making a hysterical reenactment of famous movie 'Ghost.'
There is also footage of her kissing a woman's icon on a parking lot, shouting at her 'I love you.' Some people think she is a misunderstood genius, an artist the masses are not yet ready for. Other netizens think she is trying to make some statements in a funny, silly way. Her food videos for example might be challenging South Korea's sexy doll-looking girls eating in front of a camera or making fun of what's been dubbed 'food porn.' But maybe there is no hidden meaning whatsoever, and she is just as insane as she looks.
Whatever the case, she is sure grabbing a lot of attention.
