USPSA Pistol Match Fredericksburg Rod & Gun Club (ClubID VA14) December 6th, 2014 Limited Division Minor Power Factor U Class (unclassified)
Many firsts--first match, first time shooting like this, first time using an inner-outer belt with a holster, etc. I am a total newb to the action/practical shooting sports (and shooting/markmanship in general, really). I became interested a year or so ago after watching competitive shooting on TV (e.g. 3 Gun Nation Pro Series, Impossible Shots, Top Shot, Trigger Time, etc. on Sportsman/Outdoors channels). I finally got a full sized handgun (S&W M&P9L Pro CORE) that I figured would be fine for an entry-level person like me.

OVERALL
Hits: 109 A :) 3 B 36 C 15 D 9 M :( 21/21 steel no penalties (72% of possible points, but only 36% of available match points) i am slooow
Place: 17th of 24 U Class, 23rd of 31 Limited Division, 57th of 69 shooters
Lessons: 1) go faster in every possible way, 2) M's are intolerable, 3) shoot Major (.40 S&W or .45 ACP)
Fun rating: 10/10, will do it again

FAQ1: Why is the video quality so poor? A1: The video was compressed and distorted BEFORE it even got in my hands. A nice gent filmed me with his tablet, so I have no idea what hardware or software configuration went into the recordings used here.
