RESURRECTION is set during the yellow fever plague which struck Buenos Aires in 1871. The main character is a priest with a missionary impulse, who sets out for Buenos Aires to assist the victims of this horrid epidemic. A few miles before reaching Buenos Aires, he stops by his brother's land, where he finds his family infected and the house in a state of neglect. A series of unexpected events corner him in this place and make him doubt his mission, his ethical beliefs, and finally his faith itself. RESURRECTION explores the existentialist conflict that comes from a man's torment when facing death, chaos, and the cruel suffering caused by a plague.
