Kreu i PS-së Edi Rama apeloi për të rishikuar pa humbur kohe marrëveshjen e ujërave detare me Greqinë. Drejtuesi i partisë me te madhe opozitare tha se çështja e pazgjidhur mes 2 shteteve, mbetet një zonë e minuar që rrezikon të dëmtojë marrëdhëniet me Greqinë. Kryesocialisti deklaroi se ka politikane ne Tirane dhe Athine, qe kërkojnë te nxjerrin përfitime nga marrëveshja e dështuar dhe te nxisin nacionalizmin.
Lideri opozitar ka parashtruar 4 shinat mbi te cilat sipas tij, duhet ri-negociuar marrëveshja për kufijtë detare me shtetin Helen; ato janë zbatimi i gjykatës kushtetuese shqiptare, ndjekja e sensit historik, sensi i se drejtës dhe apeli për te ardhmen e përbashkët. Zoti Rama ftoi qeverinë shqiptare te mos i shmanget përgjegjësisë për zgjidhjen e problemit. Ne 15 prill 2010, gjykata kushtetuese ne Shqipëri hodhi poshtë marrëveshjen mes 2 vendeve, firmosur nga ish ministrat e Jashtëm Lulzim Basha dhe Dora Bakojanis. Nder shkeljet me te renda te konstatuara nga Gjykata, ishin shmangia e rolit te Presidentit ne negocime dhe moszbatimi i parimeve ndërkombëtare ne ndarjen e hapësirave detare.
