"Transformim ne praktikat dhe modelet e punësimit." Ky ka qene rekomandimi i ambasadorit te BE ne Tirane, Ettore Sequi, gjate një konference për nxitjen e punësimit ne vend. Sequi theksoi se komuniteti evropian gjate këtyre 6 viteve te fundit i ka dhënë Shqipërisë 22 milionë euro vetëm për punësimin, por ai kërkoi një përshtatje me te mire te kërkesë-ofertës ne vend. Ndërkohë ministria e punës pranoi se kthimi i emigranteve nga vendet fqinje po rendon shifrat e papunësisë ne vend. Ne me shume se gjysmën e rasteve ata po i drejtohen zyrave te punës si te papune dhe jo me kërkesa për hapje biznesi ashtu siç mendohej. Pavarësisht se shifrat zyrtare flasin për një ulje te papunësisë me një shifer totale 143 mije persona ne rang vendi, ne fakt ne kategoritë e te rinjve nga 25-34 vjeç ka rritje te papunësisë këtë vit ne masën 2%. Ne total kjo kategori zë 22% te numrit te shqiptareve qe nuk kane një pune.
