Dështojnë dy raundet e tejzgjatura te bisedimeve mes Prishtinës dhe Beogradit për te arritur një marrëveshje për kufirin. Pala serbe e përfaqësuar ne këto bisedime nga Borko Stefanovic, nuk ka pranuar propozimin e ndërmjetësuesit te BE-se Robert Kuper, pasi nuk dëshiron te flitet fare për kufij por vetëm për linja administrative. Ndryshe nga Beogradi zyrtar, përfaqësuesja kosovare Edita Tahiri, ka aprovuar plotësisht zbatimin e një plani te mundshëm për menaxhim te integruar te kufirit, ku krahas doganiereve kosovare do te ketë edhe përfaqësues serbe. Edhe kryeministri Thaçi, duke folur gjate mbledhjes se qeverise, tha se Prishtina zyrtare nuk lëviz nga ky opsion. Ndërkohë mbetet e paqarte nëse ky raund bisedimesh është mbyllur këtu apo jo, pasi edhe ndërmjetësuesi Kuper nuk ka publikuar konkluzionet apo hapat e mëtejshëm te arritura ne këtë takim. Mediat serbe duke iu referuar burimeve konfidenciale ne Bruksel, shkruajnë se negociatat mund te mbahen edhe gjate fundjavës.
