Lavdërim Tufa, i akuzuari i vetëm për vrasjen e pronarit te "Kartodrom 2000" Fatmir Rama, i njohur gjerësisht si Miri i Xhikes, do vuaje vetëm 20 vite burgim. Pas rigjykimit te çështjes, Gjykata e Tiranes ka vendosur te shpëtojë te pandehurin nga qëndrimi përjetë ne qeli, dënim ky qe u dha ne gjykimin e pare nga gjykata e krimeve te renda. Ne arsyetimin e vendimit, trupi gjykues i kryesuar nga gjyqtari Albert Mece argumentoi se pas mbledhjes se fakteve gjykata arriti ne konkluzionin se Tufa nuk ka qene ekzekutor ne ngjarjen e marsit te vitit 2003, por roli i tij ka qene ai i bashkëpunëtorit. Ne baze te këtij argumenti, gjykata i hoqi dënimin te pandehurit për armëmbajtje pa leje, pasi ne armët automatike ne vendin e ngjarjes nuk u gjeten gjurmët e gishtave te tij, ndërsa e dënoi atë vetëm për akuzën e vrasjes. Ne lidhje me analizat e ADN-se dhe interpretimet e tyre gjykata vendosi te pranoje konkluzionet e ekspertit italian Renato Biondo duke marre me rezerva konkluzionet e eksperteve shqiptar sipas te cilëve ADN-ja e Tufës nuk përputhet e me atë te përzierjes se gjakut, te gjetur ne një kapuç ne vendin e ngjarjes. Çështja u rikthye për rigjykim nga gjykata e larte e cila konstatoi shkelje ligjore ne gjykimin e te riut nga Lundra. Ai u dënua me burgim te përjetshëm, për vrasje te trefishte. Vete i pandehuri nuk e ka pranuar autorësinë e vrasjes madje me shpenzimet e tij dhe ribëri analizat e ADN-se, te disa gjurmëve qe u gjeten ne kapuçin e flakur qindra metra larg vendit te ngjarjes. Krimi ndodhi mbrëmjen e 29 marsit 2003, kur viktimat po festonin fitoren e kombëtares shqiptare te futbollit ndaj Rusisë.

Blowing Tufa, the only defendant to the murder of the owner of "Kartodrom 2000" Fatmir Rama, widely known as the Xhikes Miri, will only suffer 20 years imprisonment. After the retrial of the case, the Court of Tirana decided to save the defendant from ever stay in a cell, which was awarded the penalty in the first trial by the court of serious crimes. In justification of the decision, the panel headed by Judge Albert Mece argued that after collecting facts the court concluded that the perpetrator was not Tufa in the event of March 2003, but his role was that of collaborator. According to this argument, the court removed the defendant's sentence for illegal possession of firearms, automatic weapons after the scene was not found his fingerprints, while only convicted him of murder charges. In connection with DNA analysis and their interpretations of the court decided to accept the conclusions of the expert Italian Renato Biondo taking reservations with Albanian experts conclusions according to which the Tufa DNA does not match with that of mixing the blood, to find in a hood at the scene.
