Fenomeni i rrjedhjes se votave mberrin deri ne bashkine e Kukesit. Me pak se dy muaj nga konstituimi, dy grupet e keshilltareve te bashkise jane përçare, duke krijuar dy fraksione te reja brenda te majtës e te djathtës.
14 këshilltarëve te djathte u janë shkëputur katër këshilltarë, me ne krye drejtuesin e partisë Lëvizja e Legalitetit. Ndonëse me tone më të ulëta dhe tre këshilltarë të majtë më në krye përfaqësuesin e PSD-së Gezim Omuri e kanë bere fakt ndarjen me grupimin "Aleanca per te ardhmen. Grupimet e reja pritet te krijojnë probleme ne vendimmarrjen e këshillit me 24 anetare, pasi asnje koalicion nuk ka numrin e mjaftueshëm te votave. Por këshilltarët e Kukesit jane bashkuar ne nje pike, duke i bere thirrje ministrisë se Punëve Publike e Transporteve te marre masa ndaj firmës qe ka lene ne mes punimet e ujësjellësit me vlere 3.5 milion euro. Vetem nje tabele ne dalje te qytetit tregon se ujësjellësi duhet te përfundonte ne fund te vitit 2010, pasi ne tabelat e tjera, ky afat ehte fshire.
