Puerto Rican teachers took to the streets yesterday to protest a new bill that would partially privatize education. The bill would allow charter schools, which are based on a private education model, to operate, as occurs on the U.S. mainland. The teachers have vowed to continue their protests until the bill is withdrawn. teleSUR
