Euro/Dollar has a long term average spread of point 26 pips and maximum separation has been 2 and a half pips.
This pair has been moving up from the low of 1 0631 and it has gained a total of point 58% or 62 pips.
German ZEW Survey was released yesterday at 10 AM and that’s the time of the peak daily spread, but you shouldn’t have seen a separation bigger than 2.5 pips.
Pound/Dollar’s spreads have averaged at point 89 pips during the last 24 hours, peaking at 6.4 pips.
The Cable rose sharply during the last 4 hours and it gained a total of point 4% or 61 pips.
Spreads were higher than usual for a number of ticks yesterday at 1:30 PM GMT as the US CPI was out, but you shouldn’t have been charged more than 6.4 pips.
Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 32 and 4.1 pips respectively.
Last 24 hours have been generally calm for this pair and the biggest move is a rise of point 24% or 30 pips.
The US CPI release has had the most pressure on the spreads here as well, but anything far above the max of 4.1 pips should be questioned.
