Two of Cumbria's main roads, the A66 and the A591 were closed on Sunday morning due to flooding.

The Environment Agency reported that Cumbria received 150mm rainfall overnight.

Cumbria and Lancashire were the worst affected counties, with 25 flood warnings in place, although earlier severe warnings have now been downgraded.
