Palestine: New Call to Reopen Investigation into Arafat Assassination

Wednesday November 11 marked the eleventh anniversary of the death of former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. Groups in Gaza called for reopening the investigation into his assassination. The day before, Hamas officials in the Gaza Strip handed over Arafat’s home to officials of the Fatah party. The house has been closed since 2007 but will now be opened as a museum on the life of Arafat. Arafat died at the age of 74 in the military hospital in Paris amid suspicions that he was poisoned. In 2012 a medical committee found polonium in his body. Noor Harazeen reports from Gaza for teleSUR.
