Arab-South American Summit Underway in Saudi Arabia

The 4th Summit of Arab-South American Countries began Tuesday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The two-day meeting, with 21 Arab and 13 South American countries in attendance, will discuss ties between the two regions and world oil prices. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his Ecuadoran counterpart Rafael Correa are both participating in the meeting in an effort to stake out common positions between the two regions in global forums and stabilize world oil prices. teleSUR
