Hello, I'm Louise McCauley with another Dukascopy Economic Calendar. Let's take a closer look at the most important news releases scheduled for Wednesday, the 11th of November.
It's a bank holiday in the United States and Canada as Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, respectively, are observed.
UK Labour Report for September is up first at 9:30 AM. The unemployment rate dropped in August, reaching its lowest level in 7 years.
European Central Bank President Mario Draghi will be giving a closely watched speech at 1:15 PM GMT, when he will be speaking at the Bank of England Open Forum in London.
There's a break in the schedule until 9:30 in the evening, when the New Zealand Performance of Manufacturing Index for October is released. The Index continued to rise in September as both production and new orders went up.
Japanese Machinery Orders for September follow at 11:50. The number of orders has been declining for the past three months.
Australian Consumer Inflation Expectations for October are out at midnight. The anticipated annual inflation went up by point 3 percentage points in September.
UK RICS House Price Balance for October comes 1 minute later. The Index slipped in September from the 14-month low reached a month ago.
Australian Labour Report for October concludes the schedule at half past midnight, and it is of high importance to Aussie Dollar traders. The unemployment rate stood unchanged in September, but the number of jobs went down more than anticipated.
