A Massachusetts woman is considered lucky to be alive after a wayward post slammed into her windshield on the highway.

One woman now knows this all too well—narrowly escaping death—after a 4x4 wood post slammed into her windshield.
The 67-year-old was driving north on I-91 through Springfield, Massachusetts during the late morning of November 4th.
According to a Facebook post by the Massachusetts State Police, "The wood post is believed to have fallen off off of another vehicle. It was then run over by a tractor-trailer, sending it through the air and into the Subaru windshield."
