Close Call With Whyalla Lightning Strike

Whyalla was hit by a severe storm for the second day in a row on Wednesday, November 4. The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe thunderstorm warning for heavy rainfall, flash flooding, large hailstones and destructive wind gusts for areas including Whyalla, Renmark, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Clare, Murray Bridge, Leigh Creek and Moomba.This video captured a huge lightning strike at close range.
