Peruvian league leaders Sporting Cristal got a helping hand from an unlikely source against Juan Aurich after referee Luis Garay Evia provided the assist for Irven Avila's winner. With the sides level at two apiece, goalkeeper Pedro Gallese's throw hit the back of Evia as he ran into position. The slice of luck presented Avila with an easy chance to tuck away the eventual winner with twenty minutes remaining.
