On late Friday night, a toddler was found wandering Philadelphia’s LOVE park alone and barefoot.

Police responded to a call and picked up the two-year-old child. Shortly after, the boy’s parents called authorities to report their son missing.
They noted while they were sleeping he climbed out of the box in which they were seeking temporary shelter.
The family lost their residence that day and was unable to locate a homeless shelter with space.
Both the toddler and his 4-year-old sister have been placed in the care of the Department of Human Services.
Meanwhile, an area ministry launched a fundraiser to collect the $12,000 the family will need to get in a new home and cover living expenses.
