As of now, YouTube's new programming has not yet been created, and it is likely that it will be available sometime in 2016.
The price of the subscription service is now unknown and a release date has yet to be arranged as well.
YouTube will now charge users to watch most of the freshly uploaded content, under paid subscription.
However, the new report suggests there will be paid-for original content in the works, set for a 2016 launch.
Pay-to-view videos will soon turn up on YouTube, and the video streaming site will start to offer $10 monthly subscriptions.
This change of pace was brought on because of YouTube's failed attempts to get celebrities such as Jay-Z and Ashton Kutcher to produce content for its site in 2011, spending over $100 million dollars in the process.
