Venezuela: UN Commission Evaluates Essequibo Dispute

President Nicolas Maduro announced that a diplomatic roadmap to resolve the Essequibo territorial dispute with neighboring Guyana will be outlined in November. A UN commission arrived in Venezuela on Wednesday to evaluate the situation and to design a new path to a peaceful solution. A second round of talks will be held next month. Maduro said that tangible results can be seen as a result of diplomatic efforts. teleSUR
