French train hero Spencer Stone stabbed four times while defending friend

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA ? Police have recently released a new surveillance video showing a couple men they believe are involved with the stabbing of French train attack hero Spencer Stone early Thursday morning. The video shows the men and one of Stone's friends fleeing the scene after the bloody attack.
Spencer Stone left Badlands Dance Club 45 minutes before the stabbing incident with a group of friends and two other men.
The store clerk at a nearby liquor store watched the groups interactions prior to the stabbing. The clerk told CBS Sacramento that one of Stone's female friends was arguing with one of the men and hitting him with a plastic bag.
As the group neared the intersection, the man punched Stone's friend in the face, prompting Stone to step in the middle to defend his friend. In the ensuing scuffle, Stone was stabbed four times in the torso.
The two men, along with Stone's friend, fled the scene together in a dark-colored Toyota Camry.
Police are still searching for the two men suspected of stabbing Stone and are asking any witnesses to come forward with information. According to the Washington Post, police have interviewed one of Stone's female friends at the scene who received minor injuries during the scuffle.
