The Pink Panther sets himself up as a sports pro and hoodwinks an innocent pedestrian into signing up for all kinds of lessons. Each new sport the man takes up is more disastrous than the one before. There is archery, snow and water skiing, sailing, and golf. Under the Pink Panther's tutelage, the man is, by turns, clubbed by a tree, sunk in the sea, smashed by a garden gate, and pulled out of his hospital bed by a skiing Panther, who, in spite of all the accidents, maintains his never-say-die attitude. For his valor, the man wins a just reward: one additional lesson for free. And the Panther wants his prize pupil to have it if he can catch him
