An eight-year-old boy in China who stole his sister's pencil caused himself a rather unpleasant medical issue because of where he decided to hide it.
A bizarre video has emerged of the boy having the pencil removed from inside his body, a month after he put it in there.
The footage, captured on Sunday in a hospital of Zhenjiang, features an x-ray image of the 15-centimetre pencil stuck inside his colon.
Doctors had to insert a colonoscope more than 40cm into the boy's body in order to remove it.
