Woman tests automatic hair washer
A bizarre video has emerged from China of an automatic hair wash machine.
The video, captured on Wednesday in Sichuan, shows what looks like a kind of robotic helmet being placed on a woman's head. The device then washes, massages and dries her hair.
Although the machine is still being developed, it doesn't look so far like a very pleasant experience.
The machine was invented by 38-year-old Gongke Chen who has been working on the project for 16 years and has been granted a patent.
Gongke said he came up with the idea after seeing his paralysed grandmother struggle to wash her hair.
